What are the steps in your Open Beta journey?
1. Download Genie Vault
Choose the version for your device and install the Genie Vault app.
2. Create your Vault
Register using your email address and let Genie guide you through the first steps.
3. Explore and take part
Add receipts, ask Genie AI questions and complete beta activities to help us improve the experience.
4. Visit Genie Vault Hub
Sign in using the same email address you used for the app. In the Hub, you can view your published Prize Draw entries, check the latest winners and access important beta information.

Genie Vault is still improving. During the Open Beta, some receipts may not be read perfectly, and some Genie AI answers may still need refining. That is exactly what this testing is for.

No. Genie Vault is not about uploading receipts for points.
The aim is to help you build a useful shopping memory that Genie AI can use to support spending insight, receipt organisation, repeat purchases and better-matched offers.
The prize draw is there to reward helpful beta participation, not to pay users for receipts.
Genie AI is the assistant inside Genie Vault.
It helps you turn your receipts and purchase details into useful answers — for example, what you bought, what repeats, where your money is going, which receipts might matter later and which offers may be relevant to what you already buy.
You can ask about spending, receipts, retailers, products, repeat purchases, changes over time and offers connected to what you actually buy.
For example:

Which products do I buy again and again?
What changed compared with last month?
Which receipts might I need later?
Are there any offers for things I already buy?
During the Open Beta, Genie Vault is designed to work with everyday purchase receipts and order confirmations.
This may include:
Paper receipts from shops.
Photos of receipts you already have.
Digital receipts and order confirmation emails.
Online order receipts where the items, retailer, date and total can be read.
Genie Vault is not designed to read bank app screenshots, card transaction screenshots, delivery updates without item details or images that are too blurry, cropped or incomplete to identify the purchase.
Receipt support will continue improving during the beta.

Genie Vault reads useful purchase details such as products, retailers, prices, purchase dates and totals where possible. These details help build your shopping memory, so Genie AI can answer questions about your real shopping.
During the beta, some receipts may not be read perfectly. Your feedback helps us improve the experience.
Receipt reading is improving throughout the Open Beta.
Genie Vault works best when a receipt is clear, complete and easy to read. Some receipts may still be read incorrectly or only partially, especially if they are blurry, cropped, unusually formatted or missing key details.
This is one of the main things we are testing and improving during the beta.
If a receipt is read incorrectly during the Open Beta, you can report the issue to us via Discord.
We use this beta feedback to improve receipt reading, Genie AI responses and the overall Vault experience.
Not fully yet. During the Open Beta, if Genie AI or the receipt reader gets something wrong, please report it to us directly in our Discord server. We are currently working on adding clearer review and correction tools, such as the ability to edit or delete incorrectly read receipts, and these will be introduced as the beta progresses.
No. Discord is optional and is primarily used to provide live support during the Open Beta. You can use it to ask questions, report issues and get help directly from the Genie Vault team.
You can create and use Genie Vault without joining Discord. If a specific beta activity or Prize Draw has any additional participation requirements, these will be explained separately in the relevant activity information or rules.
Active beta participants can earn free prize draw entries by completing meaningful beta activities.
These may include creating a Vault, completing onboarding, interacting with Genie AI, joining the beta community, completing feedback tasks, taking part in surveys and referring activated users.
The prize draw rewards useful beta participation, not uploading receipts for points.
The rewards are cash prizes. The prizes available to win include 50 weekly cash rewards of up to £100 and 8 monthly cash rewards of up to £250. Full reward details will be set out in the official Free Prize Draw terms.
Genie Vault Hub is the online participant area that works alongside the Genie Vault app. It is where registered beta users can view their published Prize Draw entries, check the latest winners and access important information about their participation.
The Genie Vault app is where you create your Vault, add receipts and interact with Genie AI. Genie Vault Hub supports your participation in the Open Beta, including Prize Draw information and results.
Use the same email address for both the app and the Hub.
No. Genie AI does not promise to always find the cheapest option.
As your Vault grows, Genie AI can help surface offers that better match what you actually buy or may need next. This is about better context, not guaranteed savings or universal price comparison.
When relevant offers are available, Genie AI may help connect them to your real shopping — for example, products, retailers or categories already visible in your Vault.
Offers are not guaranteed, and you do not need to buy anything because Genie AI shows you an offer.
During the Open Beta, any partner offer testing will be introduced carefully and with the right consent process.
No. Joining the Open Beta does not mean your receipt-level shopping data is automatically shared with partners.
At a later stage of the beta, we may invite users to test offers from selected potential partners. If this happens, you will be asked for your consent before taking part.
Partners will not receive your raw receipts or data that directly identifies you personally. Where partner offer testing is used, it will be based on non-identifying shopping information, such as product types, categories or shopping patterns.
Partners will not be able to download your shopping data. The data remains within the Genie Vault system.

Your receipts are used to build your Vault, help Genie AI understand your shopping and improve the Genie Vault experience.
We do not provide partners with access to your raw receipts.
Access to receipt data is restricted to Genie Vault systems and authorised people who need it to operate, support and improve the service.

Joining the Open Beta does not give partners permission to contact you directly. Genie Vault will only use your details to send you beta updates, support messages, and participation information.
As part of the beta, we will be testing partner offers within the app to find deals that match your shopping habits. However, we will always ask for your clear, opt-in consent before using your anonymised data to do this, and your personal contact details will never be shared with partners.
Yes. You can request the deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us directly through our Discord server. If you request deletion, your personal data and raw receipts will be entirely removed from our systems. Please note that any aggregated, anonymised data from previously read receipts will be kept to help us continuously improve the Genie Vault system. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.
The Open Beta is an early testing phase. If the beta is successful and we move to the final production phase, you will be able to keep your account and all your accumulated receipt data seamlessly. If we decide not to move forward or need to make major changes to the service, all users will be clearly informed in advance.
The Open Beta is currently planned to run for three months. During that time, we will test and improve Genie Vault alongside our early users and decide if the beta testing period needs to be extended. Once the beta phase concludes, it will be entirely your decision whether you want to keep using your Vault.
No. Participation in the Genie Vault Open Beta is completely free. Looking ahead, when we move out of beta and into the final production version, there are currently no plans to charge users. Revenue will instead be generated through the relevant partner offers introduced within the app.
No. This is an Open Beta.
You will be helping us test, improve and shape the product before a wider launch.
During the beta, receipt reading, Genie AI responses, insights and support flows may continue to improve.
Genie Vault Hub is the first place to go for help during the Open Beta. Sign in to the Hub to find support information and guidance.
If you would like live support, you can join our optional Discord community and speak directly with the Genie Vault team. The Discord invitation is available in the Hub once you have created your Vault.
First, create your Vault in the Genie Vault app. Once your Vault is set up, sign in to Genie Vault Hub using the same email address you used to register.
You will find the Discord invitation in the Hub. When joining, you will be asked to provide your Genie Vault ID so that we can verify your account and give you access to the live support channels.
Discord is optional, and there is no need to join before creating your Vault.
Download the Genie Vault app from the App Store or Google Play and register using your email address. Once your Vault has been created, you can use that same email address to sign in to Genie Vault Hub.
